PikanHealth ("we", "our", or "PikanHealth") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use our 40-day health transformation program (intermittent fasting, daily tasks, dietitian connection).

PikanHealth is developed and operated from Turkey. By using our application, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We collect the following data when you use PikanHealth:

2.1. Account Information (via Google Sign-In)

• Email address
• Name

2.2. Health and Wellness Data

• Fasting sessions (start/end times, duration)
• Daily task completion status
• Body measurements (weight, waist, hip, chest)
• Diet plans

2.3. Usage Data

• App interaction data
• Scores and streak data
• Device timezone information

2.4. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Location data
• Payment information
• Advertising data
• Third-party analytics data

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data solely for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your account (authentication via Google OAuth)
• Tracking your progress throughout the 40-day program
• Providing personalized health insights and statistics
• Dietitian feature: enabling your dietitian to view your progress
• Improving the app experience and fixing bugs
• Sending important account-related notifications

4. Dietitian Feature and Data Sharing

PikanHealth allows users to connect with their dietitian. When you connect with a dietitian, they can view the following data:

• Progress data and statistics
• Body measurements
• Fasting sessions and task completion status
• Diet plans

This sharing occurs only with your consent and within the scope of your active dietitian connection.

5. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Data Processing

PikanHealth uses Google Gemini AI services for food analysis and nutrition assistant features. In this context:

• Your food photos and descriptions are sent to Google Gemini servers for nutritional analysis
• Chat content with the AI assistant is sent to Google Gemini to generate responses
• Google processes this data in accordance with its own privacy policy
• Nutritional analyses and recommendations generated by AI are estimates only and do not substitute for medical advice

Using AI features is optional. You can prevent your data from being sent to AI systems by not using these features.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Our app contains no advertisements and does not use any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We use only Google OAuth for authentication purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information. All data is stored on secure servers and encrypted during transmission. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

8. Data Retention

Your personal data is retained as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted. Where required by legal obligations, certain data may be retained for the legally mandated period.

9. Your Rights Under KVKK (Turkish Data Protection Law)

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed
• To request information about the processing if your data has been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether data is being used in accordance with its purpose
• To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, domestically or abroad
• To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data

11. Account Deletion and Data Deletion Requests

To delete your account and all associated data, you can submit a request through the app or by emailing info@pikanhealth.io. Your request will be processed within 30 days.

12. Children's Privacy

PikanHealth is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we learn that a minor has provided data, we will promptly delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. We encourage you to review the updated policy regularly.
